"As a species, anthropocene dominance gives us as greater opportunity as it does a reason to reflect negatively on what we have done to our world. Humankind is capable of magnificent things. Now is the time, without delay, to renew our sense of purpose and focus our powers to the replenishment of the world that has sustained our existence and helped us thrive throughout the timespan of humanity.
As we enter a new geological epoch, defined by the impact of humans on the planet, we should be both proud and ashamed of our impact to the natural world. It does however give us the empowerment to engage our innovations to maintain the balance between the natural and the built environment.
We again find ourselves standing at ground zero for creation with the fate of the planet truly in our hands, we can define the shape of our future existence and leave behind us a world for future generations to be proud to call home."

Our Background
Over 50 percent of the world’s coral reefs have died in the last 30 years and up to 90 percent may disappear within the next century. We believe it does not have to be this way.
Ocean Blade is, a company formed by a group of like minded individuals with backgrounds in marine exploration, environmental science and engineering disciplines. Their shared passion was simple but urgent: to preserve the ocean’s most precious ecosystems and support the growth of marine habitats as vital planetary assets. Their mission was to protect what we still have, restore what has already been lost and build new reef habitats for future generations.
Our focus is the development of a sustainable relationship with our ocean, protecting it, refurbishment of degraded habitats and the creation of new life. During our journey we will deliver environmental management programs that enhance biodiversity, support eco friendly tourism and protect marine ecosystems at scale. We are the first company in the world to mechanize the reconstruction of the undersea world — we embrace engineered, scalable solutions that allow rebuilding and restoration to be carried out faster, safer and more efficiently than conventional diver based techniques.
We believe human innovation can help restore the ocean as rapidly and responsibly as it has been exploited. This is the moment for humanity to renew our purpose, apply our capabilities and commit to regenerating the ecosystems that sustain life on Earth.
